BASIC SERVICES OF FUNERAL DIRECTOR AND STAFF & OVERHEAD

Our basic service charge includes, but is not limited to, staff to respond to initial request for service; arrangement conference with family or responsible party; preparation and filing of necessary certificates and permits; placement of obituary notices; planning of funeral arrangements; and coordination of service with cemetery, crematory, vault companies and others as required. Also included in this charge are overhead expenses relative to our facility such as insurance, maintenance and utility expenses, secretarial and administrative costs, equipment and inventory expenses.

EMBALMING

Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing.

OTHER PREPARATION OF THE BODY

Our charge includes bathing, handling, cosmetology, hairdressing, dressing and casketing.

VIEWING/VISITATION

Our services will include use of facilities for private family viewing, visitation period, supervision and attendance during visitation and arrangement of floral pieces.

CHURCH WAKE/VISITATION

Our services include local transportation of encased remains, visitation set-up and arrangement of floral pieces, supervision and attendance during wake.

CHAPEL FOR FUNERAL SERVICE

Our service includes coordinating the funeral arrangements, supervision of funeral, staff to attend the funeral ceremony, supervision of committal or other disposition service, setup and use of facilities for funeral ceremony.

FUNERAL SERVICE AT OTHER FACILITY

Our services include coordinating the funeral arrangement, supervision of committal or other disposition service, equipment and additional staff necessary to conduct funeral at other facility.

MEMORIAL SERVICE

Our service includes coordinating the memorial service, supervision, staff to attend memorial service, setup and use of facilities for memorial service at the funeral home.

MEMORIAL SERVICE AT OTHER FACILITY

Our services include coordinating the memorial service, supervision of memorial service, and additional staff and Equipment necessary to conduct memorial service at other facility.

GRAVESIDE SERVICE

Our services include coordinating arrangements, supervision at graveside service, equipment and staff necessary to conduct graveside service.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES:

FORWARDING OF REMAINS TO ANOTHER FUNERAL HOME/ MORTUARY

This charge includes removal of remains, basic service of staff, embalming, necessary authorization and local transportation to airport. This does not include any rites or ceremonies.

RECEIVING OF REMAINS FROM ANOTHER FUNERAL HOME/ MORTUARY

This charge includes basic services of staff, removal of remains from airport, transportation of remains to the cemetery. Temporary shelter of remains, 1 day visitation, use of cemetery equipment, home equipment, Use of Funeral Coach.

IMMEDIATE BURIAL

This charge for immediate burial includes removal of remains from place of death, local transportation to the cemetery, necessary authorizations and basic services of staff. This charge does NOT include the use of facilities and staff for visitation or ceremony, public or private, prior to burial, Merchandise or Cash Advances.

DIRECT CREMATION

This charge for direct cremation includes removal of remains, local transportation to crematory, necessary authorizations, and basic services of staff. This charge does not include the use of facilities and staff for any visitation or ceremony, public or private prior to cremation. If you wish to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container other than the container provided by the crematory.

CASH ADVANCES

There are some things that the Funeral Home does not provide as part of the funeral service. Cash Advance items are monies sent to 3rd parties on your behalf and some of these charges are necessary to conduct the funeral service.

Our funeral home will, as a courtesy and service to the family, assist the family in the purchase of these items provided we are reimbursed at the time the funeral arrangements are finalized, or no later than 24 hours prior to the scheduled service. The only exception to this policy is an assignment of verified insurance claims or has been included in the contract.
